چکیده

The anthropological studies of the past 50 years carried out on the living adult Hungarian population in chronological order is discussed. Based on the communications, the author comes to the conclusion that the research was restricted to the areas between the Danube and Tisza rivers, and east of the River Tisza. The examination of the living adult Hungarian population was not carried out systematically, so general conclusions that would apply to all Hungarians cannot be drawn. The number of persons examined was approximately 25-30,000. Acta Biol Szeged 44(1-4):123-128 (2000)
